Directory on Yealink DECT:  Is there a way to make this work on the handsets.  I tried the directory settings on the W70B base and didn't seem to do anything.

To solve that problem, I create a fake yealink desk phone on the extension, such as 100x, with a fake MAC.
Then use an override for the W70B which will tell it to use the directory from that fake phone. Replace MACADDRESS in the override with the fake MAC. You could instead use the directory from a real desk phone, but it won't list its own extension in the directory.
remote_phonebook.data.1.name="Company Directory" remote_phonebook.data.1.url="http://:@ndp1-nyj.dialtoen.com/cfg/MACADDRESS-directory.cfg"

Thanks @Eric MacLean.  Clever workaround.

@Eric MacLean just beat me to it.  You can also import a local directory too if the customer wanted a custom speed dial directory.

@Rob Cofiell - Granite Communications. For the local directory, would I need to create an xml file and store it somewhere else?

@Doug Hamilton yes, you can export from a desk phone.  I am not sure of the  exact override you'd need for the local one since the base will ask you to specify which account the local directory is for.

Found it.  Use 'handset.X.contact_list.url' and the URL of the xml file.
