Operator Forward [Sonictel PBX]

Modified on Wed, Jan 10, 2024 at 2:04 PM

Operator Forward: Allows a caller to dial 0 (zero) during a voicemail greeting to be transferred to another Extension, outside number, etc.

NOTES:

Operator Forward can be found under the 'Voicemail' settings of a User. There is a text field labelled 'Operator Forward' where you can enter the destination.

In order for the 'Operator Forward' setting to work on a customer PBX, the DID that the call routes in from MUST have 'Enhanced Voicemail' set to ENABLED. This can be updated in Inventory > Phone Numbers by clicking the 'Enhanced Voicemail' check box.

Operator Forward ONLY works with the 0 (zero) key.
