Details | This article will guide you on how to configure the SonicWall, to allow the Cloud9Phone traffic into your network.
IMPORTANT: Changing your router's configuration is critical. For more information in configuring your router's settings, contact your router manufacturer for advanced support.
Accessing the router interface
Step 1:Enter the router's IP address in the address bar of your web browser.
NOTE: To learn how to check your router's IP address, refer to your router documentation or contact your router manufacturer for support.Step 2:Enter your router's username and password. Configuring the SonicWall Router's Firewall SettingsStep 1:Go to Network > Services then click Add.
Name: C9P DMZ Ports Protocol: UDP(17) Port Range: 1000-65500 Sub-Type: None Step 2:Go to Address Objects then click Add.
Name: C9P Primary Zone Assignment: WAN Type: Range Starting IP: This is our SIP Feature Server which we will provide the WAN IP assigned to you. Ending IP: Same as above
Step 3:Go to Firewall then click Add. Opening up Cloud9Phone VoIP service-ports on the SonicWall
Action: Allow From Zone: LAN To Zone: WAN Service: C9P DMZ Ports Source: Any
Destination: C9P Primary Users Allowed: All Schedule: Always On Enable Enable Logging Enable Allow Fragmented Packets
Action: Allow From Zone: WAN To Zone: LAN Service: C9P DMZ Ports Source: C9P Primary Destination: Any Users Allowed: All Schedule: Always On Enable Enable Logging Enable Allow Fragmented Packets
Action: Allow From Zone: WAN To Zone: LAN Service: C9P DMZ Ports Source: C9P NTP Destination: Any Users Allowed: All Schedule: Always On Enable Enable Logging Enable Allow Fragmented Packets Step 4:Go to the VOIP Tab.
