It is known that Optimum, Verizon and other ISP block or impede SIP 5060 over their networks.
IF you encounter this problem, we have designed a solution using OpenVPN to solve this problem.
By activating OpenVPN, the phone will create a secure tunnel to our cloud based OpenVPN server, thus bypassing the blocking of SIP 5060 by ISP such as Verizon, Optimum, etc.
Because it's a secure tunnel, they can't see any of the traffic details and our traffic travels over SSL which they don't impede.
Below are the settings to add to Yealink phone to activate OpenVPN on Yealink phones.
Add these two lines to > Advanced Tab of each phone encountering the SIP ALG problems and reboot.
