W52P – Portable phone user instructions
Answering Calls
When the phone is ringing, you may press the {Accept} soft key, or the GREEN phone key to answer, OR press the SPEAKERPHONE Icon to go on Speakerphone.
Making Calls
If the phone is IDLE, press RED POWER/HANGUP button once or twice to see blue screen THEN dial your number ( 3 digit intercom, 7 digit local, 10 digit LD, etc.) and press GREEN or OK
DO NOT end the dial number with a # like you do on the deskphones – OK is INSTANT SEND.
Transfer Calls
Once you are on a call ( made or received ) Press the {Options} soft key,
Then the {OK} softkey or [OK] center button. Key in 3 digit ext# ( or 7 or 10 digit outside number) you wish to transfer to.
When the 2nd call is answered, announce to that party and press the {Transfer} soft key
Press the RED hangup button to end
Conference Calls
Once you are on a call ( made or received ) Press the {Options} soft key,
Then the press the UP arrow ( or DOWN Arrow 3 times ) – Conference is now highlighted
PRESS {OK} softkey or [OK] center button.
Key in 3 digit ext# ( or 7 or 10 digit outside #) you wish to conference, press the {Conf.} softkey.
When the 2nd call is answered, and press the {Conf.} soft key to join the parties.
Press the RED hangup button to end
Picking up Voice Mail
If the phone is IDLE, press RED POWER/HANGUP button once or twice to see blue screen PRESS Message ( envelope ICON) – If you see a (0) beside message ICON ( cassette ICON) then you have NO VM – If you see a number there, that’s how many VM messages you have
Press the DOWN arrow to select Voice Mail and press the {Select} softkey or [OK]
Key in your password and pickup your messages. ( 7 is the delete (Remove ) key)
Call Park
Call park is simply a TRANSFER to 7
Press the {Options} soft key, Then the {OK} softkey or [OK] center button. Key in 7
then the {Transfer} soft key
When system answers, it will announce “ONE” or “TWO” or “THREE”, etc.
Press the RED hangup button to end
The call is now ready to be CALL PICKUP at any phone ( including yours)
Call Pickup
If the phone is IDLE, press RED POWER/HANGUP button once or twice to see blue screen THEN dial your 1 or 2 or 3 ( Park location ) and press [OK]
