Provisioning Aastra Phones

  •  Plug in and Boot up Phone.   ( Plug the Aastra phone in to the network to receive DHCP
  • Once the phone is done with it's booting sequence
  • Select Options -> Administrator Menu (password is 22222) -> Network Settings ->IP Address **Note the IP address**
  • Open a browser on the same network as the phone.
  • Goto http://
  • Login as “admin” password “22222”
  • On the left side of the screen (menus) select “Configuration Server”
  • In the Main window change the Download Protocol to “FTP”
  • “FTP server” is the Provisioning Host from Settings>Service Settings screen under Provisioning Server Info.
  • “FTP Username” is the Provisioning User  from Settings>Service Settings screen under Provisioning Server Info.
  • “FTP Password" is the Provisioning Password from Settings>Service Settings screen under Provisioning Server Info.
  • Select “Save Settings” at the bottom of the screen.
  • Once the settings have been saved select Reset -> Restart Phone (menu on left side of screen)
  • Provisioning is now complete, the phone will download it's configuration file and boot up as the extension it was configured as.
