- Create a SIP Trunk in the portal
- Power unit up
- Plug unit into WAN port
- Plug analog phone into FXS1
- Pick up phone dial *** then 02 to get IP Address of unit. After you get the IP Address press # then 12 then 9 to open WAN Port access then hang up
- Open web browser enter IP Address the unit gave you
- Password is admin all lowercase
- Select Advanced Settings Tab
- Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning
- Upgrade Via HTTP
- Firmware Server Path: firmware.grandstream.com
- Scroll to the bottom and select Apply
- Scroll back down to the bottom and select Reboot
- At this point the GXW400X will go out and download its firmware
- Select Profile 1 Tab
- Profile Active: Yes
- Primary SIP Server: pbxxx.cloud@#$%^.com (Info from SIP Trunk Detail Screen)
- Outbound Proxy: pbxxx.cloud@#$%^.com (Info from SIP Trunk Detail Screen)
- NAT Transversal: Keep-Alive
- Register Expiration: 2
- Enable Call Features: No
- Hunting Group Type: Linear
- Scroll to the bottom and select Apply
- Select FXS Ports
- Under Port1 add
- SIP User ID: (Info from SIP Trunk Detail Screen – SIP Username)
- Authenticate ID: (Info from SIP Trunk Detail Screen – SIP Username)
- Password: (Info from SIP Trunk Detail Screen – SIP Password)
- Scroll to the bottom and select Apply
- At this point you will be registered via SIP Trunk
- 18. From here you can now add your Hunt Group
- Port 1 select Active
- Port 2 set to 1
- Port 3 set to 1
- Port 4 set to 1
- This tags all FXS ports to Port 1 for Hunt Group.
- 19. This setup will also work with Extensions as well if you do not want to use a SIP Trunk.
